Training Information & Key Dates 2026
2026 Class Structure, Check & Setup Times

🚫NO DOGS AT CHECK-IN🚫: For safety and efficiency, check-in is a human-only experience. The only exception applies to volunteers working in the office; dogs must remain crated at all times.

Crate Use & Working from Cars: The rules for crate use and working from cars were implemented in 2025 and remains in effect for 2026. Please refer to the General Club & Ground Rules for complete details.

ADC Safety Commitment: ADC is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all members and their dogs. We uphold and enforce our club's policies, procedures, ground rules, and standards, as well as those set by our affiliates, including Dogs NSW and ADAA. For more information, please refer to the Key Documents page.

Class Punctuality & Assistance: Please arrive on time for training and assist with setup and pack-down, unless medically unable to do so; in which case, medical evidence must be provided to the Club Executive. Members who arrive late without prior approval may be unable to participate in that week's training session. Thank you for helping ADC run smoothly.

Volunteering at the ADC & Contact: ADC is a club entirely volunteer-run by and for its members. During your membership renewal or signup, you indicated how and where you would be willing to volunteer at the ADC for the coming year. Many hands make light work, and we have incorporated bite-sized volunteer roles within our curriculum. We thank you in advance for this much-needed help.
The best way to contact the Committee is via the Secretary's email, which is regularly monitored. Please be mindful and refrain from direct messaging committee members about club-related matters. Our team works very hard in between life events and full-time work to keep the club running, and we do have the right to switch off.

Class Curriculum & Progression:

The Taster Course runs as a 5-week program that introduces new handlers to the world of agility. Please see the Taster Page for courses available.
Beginners through Purple Class will receive a checklist of skills upon entering the class. Progression through the levels is entirely team-dependent. Instructors will tick off skills as they are mastered, and when checklists are completed, handlers and their dogs will move to the next level.

Wet Weather: In the event of adverse weather, the Committee will notify members by Email, Facebook notice, and SMS as soon as practicable.
