On occasion, ADC is asked to provide agility dogs and handlers for television segments and other media appearances.
Dogs are selected from our membership based on availability and reliability and our demonstration team love being put through their paces in front of the camera.

Sunrise on 7 with Sam Mac

ADC was privileged to host Sam Mac from Sunrise on the 15th of March 2022. We were up nice and early to Showcase both our club at Castle Hill but also the sport of Agility.
Our members had the chance to show off their skills across all levels as well as interviews with our President, Vice President, Secretary, and Chief Education Officer.
Sam even had a crack at Agility at the end of the segment, although a little unconventional he took out the main Prize!
Better Homes and Gardens

After ADC helped with a segment on dog sports with Better Homes and Gardens back in 2018, they were keen to have us back and do an entire segment on agility. Thankfully in October 2019, we got that chance. We were very grateful to have this opportunity to share our sport with Australia. Hopefully, it will encourage more people to go out and enjoy our amazing sport.
One of the stars of this segment was Ralph. Not long after this episode was shot he went through some health issues and unfortunately had to give up agility. Thankfully he is doing well and is enjoying retirement.
The Living Room

Back in December 2018 Amanda Keller and some of our amazing members got together to film for the Channel 10 tv show The Living Room. It was a great day showing off our amazing agility dogs and teaching Amanda's dog some basic agility tricks.

In January 2018, Dr Harry and a film crew from Channel 7's Better Homes and Gardens came to Castle Hill Showground to learn about agility! We showed off some of our dog's skills and posed for photos for a spot on their segment about dog sports.
