Training at ADC

Join the Agility Dog Club of NSW

There are two ways to start training with us, depending on your experience.

New to agility?

Start with our 5-week beginner course.

This is the best way to learn the basics and see if agility is right for you and your dog. The course introduces the key skills and equipment in a structured and supportive environment.

Before you Apply:

We are a structured training club and expect all members to follow our training approach and club requirements.

  • Training is based on positive reinforcement methods.

  • Dogs must be under control and able to work around others.

  • Handlers are expected to participate in setting up and packing away equipment.

  • Regular attendance is important for progression.

  • All members must follow club rules and safety requirements.

Membership and Training:

Training is run weekly with experienced instructors, with classes structured from beginner through to advanced levels.

Progression is based on skill development and readiness to move to the next level.

We are also an active competition club, with members competing under ANKC and ADAA.

Not sure where to start?

If you are unsure which option applies to you, start with the beginner course or contact us for advice.
